CF is a pro-poor political party that was founded with the mission to restore dignity, equity, and prosperity to the people of Zambia. The party’s 2026–2031 Manifesto outlines a bold, citizen-centered vision aimed at addressing the deep-rooted economic and social challenges that continue to face the nation six decades after independence.
At its core, CF recognizes the harsh realities of poverty, inequality, and underdevelopment — from overcrowded classrooms and maternal deaths, to food insecurity and the continued foreign dominance of Zambia’s natural wealth. The party is driven by the conviction that Zambians must own and benefit from their economy.
The CF manifesto positions every citizen, from all ten provinces, at the center of national development. It emphasizes social justice, youth empowerment, innovation, and productivity as tools to fight poverty and build inclusive growth. CF pledges to ensure universal access to quality education, healthcare, and basic services, putting human wellbeing at the heart of governance.
The party seeks to separate politics from development, grounding its approach in sound principles of political economy, policy coherence, and long-term planning. Its strategies are designed to deliver tangible results — immediate, short-term, and long-term — that will anchor Zambia’s national development agenda.
CF’s vision is of a unified and peaceful Zambia where no one is left behind — children, youth, women, men, the vulnerable, traditional leaders, the church, civil society, and the private sector all working together for a shared future.
Ultimately, CF envisions a Zambia where every person has the opportunity to survive, thrive, and compete globally – a nation built on integrity, trust, and the collective will of its people.
To develop Zambia through enhanced and competitive policies and programs that will ultimately position Zambia as a developed country with capacity to export its goods and services on the international arena leveraging on the central geolocation, the peaceful environment of the country anchored in the one Zambia One Nation and on the talent and energy of our youthful
population to drive a homegrown development agenda.
